Gyration Air Mouse Elite Pro Reviews

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The Air Mouse Elite is certainly more comfortable than the GO Plus when used as a desktop mouse, but some might find it less ergonomic in the air. Try before you buy if you can.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

While this shouldn't be on your want list as your primary mouse, the Air Mouse Elite by Gyration is the perfect navigation tool for your home theater or business presentations.

CrunchGear‘s review Edit

This is a mouse for a person who frequently uses his or her computer as a means of publicly showing stuff off — whether that’s hooking up your laptop to a projector, streaming movies to your PC, or giving slideshows in a class. It works well except, ironically, for the most common mousing task, clicking. If that seems like something you can deal with, then the Air Mouse Elite is a solid buy. For those of you looking for a cool gadget for gaming or expecting a Minority Report interface — not so much. MSRP is around $80 but you can find it for $60-70 if you look, which strikes me as a reasonable price.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

It's certainly not cheap, but the Air Mouse Elite is an excellent presentation accessory. It takes a little training to get the best out of it, but once you're familiar with its quirks it comes into its own as an accurate and customisable wireless pointer. It also happily doubles up as a standard desktop mouse.

Quite simply, the Elite is Gyration's best Air Mouse yet. If you can live with its few drawbacks and don't require the mobility afforded by the portable Air Mouse, it's the most comfortable mouse around that'll work both on and off your desk. You do pay extra for its extended functionality, but for those that can afford it the premium is justifiable.

reghardware‘s review Edit

Despite only basic Mac/Linux support, the charger shortcomings and minor niggles with the gesture recognition capability, I enjoyed using Air Mouse Elite. It has broad appeal for a range of environments as it works well as a traditional desktop mouse, whilst delivering a unique user experience with its additional functionality both as remote controller and an in-air PC navigator.
