Microsoft released SP1 for Windows 7. Have anyone tried it?

Since yesterday you can download the SP1 for windows 7. Have you guys tried it, have you noticed any speed or other improvements?????

Firstly I thought my PC was faster, but then it started to freeze.....something that I hadn't experienced a long time ago :(

Yesterday I installed SP1 on my friend's computer and the PC can't get past the login screen normally. So I had to go in safe mode and restore it to a state prior to installing the Service Pack. Did anyone have that issue?
