Logitech Z520 Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

You might expect better bass at high volumes for $130, but Logitech's no-frills Speaker System Z520 does make a good office speaker set, offering crisp output at moderate volume levels.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

We'd have a much easier time recommending the Logitech Z520's average sound quality and lack of features if it didn't cost $130. We'd rather point you toward the Logitech Z523 system that offers best-in-class sound quality (and a subwoofer to boot) at an affordable price.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

The sound quality of the Z520s is great, but the price tag is less so. While the lack of a subwoofer means that the speakers have fewer wires, this quite a premium for this luxury. Ultimately, the problem is that if you are really wanting great quality sound, you'll not be put off by the extra wires of a 2.1 system.

computershopper‘s review Edit

This two-piece speaker set delivers airy sound and cut-above audio quality for basic desktop-bound music listening and movie watching, but we'd look for them on sale.

Maximum PC‘s review Edit

We haven’t auditioned many cheap speaker systems lately. Why? Well, let’s just say we don’t enjoy subjecting our ears to the sonic equivalent of waterboarding. But Logitech has a knack for packing big sound into inexpensive boxes, so we agreed to review its new two-channel Z520 system.
