LG BD570 Pro Reviews

www.whathifi.com‘s review Edit

The inexorable downward trajectory of the price of a decent Blu-ray player continues apace. After some strenuous testing our new favourite player is the £170 Sony BDP-S370, but already it’s got brand-new competition in the shape of this LG BD570.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The LG BD570 is a full-featured Blu-ray player offering wired and wireless network connectivity, excellent HD imagery, and speedy disc loading. Its standard definition quality is a tad noisy, however, and the included remote control is difficult to use.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

The LG570 is basically two products in one slimline chassis and as such can be considered excellent value; its integration of both physical media and file streaming gives it distinct advantages over dedicated products. The player's interface is neat and very ease to use. As a Blu-ray player it does a fine job, significantly delivering clear images from hi-def discs.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

As long as you don't need 3D compatibility, the LG BD570 offers the same mix of solid Blu-ray playback and media streaming that made its predecessor a hit.
