ORIGIN GENESIS Pro Reviews

Digital Trends‘s review Edit

Gamers looking for a top-end gaming rig would do well to consider the Origin Genesis, not only for the screaming performance, but also for the peace of mind that comes with knowing it’s backed by a company that “gets it” when it comes to the boutique PC business.

PC World‘s review Edit

Offering the highest general performance we've seen to date, the Genesis is arguably worth the arm and leg that Origin is asking in trade.

The Origin Genesis is the first system we've seen with Intel's new Sandy Bridge Core i7 2600K chip. Fast, and extremely overclockable, the new chip has provided Origin with a platform for a remarkably value-friendly gaming rig. Shop around for pricing as Sandy Bridge spreads among other vendors, but right now this is the $2,499 gaming PC to beat.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Origin Genesis is an über-gaming PC from some of the guys that helped build Alienware's reputation in the gaming PC market. It has insane performance and an insane price, but if you're the kind who has to choose between commuting in a Maserati or a Bentley, then the Genesis might be your next toy.

The Origin PC Genesis is an uncompromising, benchmark-busting gaming machine that restores honor to the reputation of boutique-PC builders.

HotHardware‘s review Edit

All the system configurations we tested qualify as fast, but Origin's Genesis waves at fast while rocketing past it in the left-hand lane. Best of all, Origin doesn't compromise build quality or component stability in an attempt to juice their system farther. This is a rig that's absolute top of the line now, and will carry any buyer for years to come - DX11 games, even when plentiful, won't be an issue. Short of opting for an Intel SSD RAID 0 or an even more esoteric storage solution, there's not much an end user could do to improve system performance at the moment.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

More than its clean interior or its fast gaming performance, the Origin Genesis won us over with its case that makes it easier than any of its competitors to swap hard drives in and out. This is an expensive gaming PC from a new name in boutique vendors, but its founders' experience at Alienware shows. We recommend this system with no major reservations to well-heeled PC gamers.
