PC World‘s review Edit

In the 532h-2588, Acer has produced a very average netbook at a relatively low price, with all the drawbacks and strengths of the class.

The Aspire One 532h is reasonably priced, but the keyboard and touchpad could use a makeover.

The Aspire One 532h is by no means a bad netbook, but there’s nothing particularly jaw-dropping about it either. Battery life is unspectacular, while performance can’t quite keep pace with last year’s netbooks. The awkwardly-designed touchpad also holds it back. At just under £300, it’s reasonably priced, but with our almost flawless Ubuntu experience it’s a shame you can’t buy it without having to slip a few bob to Microsoft.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

As plain as it looks, the Acer Aspire One (AO532h-2268) is still one of the most inexpensive netbooks in the business. The typing and navigating experience have improved, battery life has risen to an impressive 9 hours, and the warranty starts at 2 years.

The Aspire One 532 is the latest addition and also one of the first netbooks to feature Intel's latest Atom processor, the N450. It increase battery life as well as processing and graphical performance. The Acer Aspire One 532 improves on the original in more than one way...

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The Acer Aspire One 532h's clincher is its price. For around £290 this is a very good netbook. Not only that, the Aspire One 532h has a better keyboard and touchpad, offers respectable performance, very good battery life and great value for money.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

The Acer Aspire One 532h is a capable netbook, offering the sort of battery life to make it a practical all-day device. Recent models have seen a step forward in endurance and this basic spec device delivers that, suggesting a bright year for the latest crop of netbooks.

A solid but somewhat uninspiring netbook, and we expected more in the way of battery life from Acer’s debut 'Pine Trail' machine.

tweaktown‘s review Edit

At the end of the day the Acer Aspire One 532h-2326 is not a netbook you buy if you want the fastest performing machine out there. The Acer Aspire One 532h-2326 is a machine to buy based on price since it is one of the cheaper netbooks available. You also buy this netbook if what you are looking for is long battery life. I am very impressed to see such battery life in a netbook selling at such a bargain price. It's really hard to go wrong here if average performance is something you can live with, but long run time is your priority.

While not a bad effort, the Acer Aspire One 532h-2Dr suffers for being very similar to its Packard Bell sibling and not offering enough incentive over cheaper, previous generation machines that are considerably cheaper. It won't let you down, but neither will it blow you away.

The Acer Aspire One (532h-2326) boasts nearly 10 hours of battery life and new and improved keyboard, but looks weigh this netbook down.

The Acer Aspire One 532h-2326 is just as good for basic tasks as Netbooks costing $100 more, making it a solid sub-$300 option.

Engadget‘s review Edit

Acer's maintained a steady lead in the race to sell as many netbooks as possible in the past year. That's largely because the Taiwanese manufacturer figured out early that basic netbooks at lower prices would fly off shelves. And the new Aspire One 532h doesn't mess with that formula

Notebookcheck‘s review Edit

Aspire One 532, the newest netbook from Acer, is equipped wtih a 10.1 inch display and a LED backlight. The 532 is Acer's first netbook running on Intels new Pine Trail platform. The netbook is also equipped with an Intel Atom N450 processor (1.66 GHz) and an integrated GMA 3150 graphics chip. Additionally, the Aspire One 532 is also the successor to the highly successful Acer Aspire One 531 and so we have no doubt that it is packed with a great many useful features which we will look at in further detail in our review.
