Samsung N210 Pro Reviews

expertreviews‘s review Edit

It looks stunning, has great battery life and a very comfortable keyboard, but the screen let it down slightly

If you are looking for a netbook and want something that is solidly made with good battery life then the Samsung N210 could be ideal. Some will find that the instant-on operating system is unnecessary, though.

TechRadar UK‘s review Edit

While the N210 does little to push the market forward, it effortlessly fulfils expectations of what a second-generation netbook should be capable of. With stunning mobility, an impressive user interface and a comfortably usable screen, it makes it easy to recommend.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

We found it difficult to get excited by a netbook that barely matches earlier models in performance and feels cheaper in overall build quality to boot. It looks more plasticky than a Samsung NC10 or N110, has discernibly no more performance than them (in part, to be fair, because it’s slowed down by Microsoft’s newer OS), and we measured no leap forward in battery life than the Samsung N140 we last tested.

Liliputing‘s review Edit

The Samsung N210 features an attractive design, a decent touchpad and good, but not great battery life. While I’m not a huge fan of the keyboard, I did find the laptop to be about as snappy and responsive as any Intel Atom N450 Pine Trail-based netbook I’ve used.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

It looks ordinary enough and has largely average performance, though the extra battery life is welcome and the alternative Linux boot-up is fun. It may be that the battery life on its own will be enough to recommend it to you - just don't expect it to turn any heads.

PC World‘s review Edit

The Samsung N210's matte screen is easy to see in various lighting conditions, but the colors are a little washed out.

This netbook's attractive design and decent battery life almost overshadow its mediocre performance.

Samsung continues to make all the right moves with its netbooks. While previous generation models still trump the N210 for value, among the new models it's one of the most polished and complete.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

Nothing in particular makes the Samsung N210 stand out in a netbook line-up, but it's a fundamentally sound netbook at a low price.
