Lenovo ThinkPad T510 Pro Reviews

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

This is a ThinkPad first and foremost. It’s a powerful business workhorse, with a few touches for the consumer - making it ideal for the home office. Intel’s Core i5 processor gives it more than an enough power for most tasks, and there’s enough battery life to give you nearly a full day away from the plug if you’re not online all the time. It’s comfortable, not too heavy, and with a good quality screen. We’d have like a little more RAM and a little more screen resolution, but they’re only minor quibbles with a quality laptop that has the key features for getting work done and entertaining yourself afterwards; pick the faster hard drive or the SSD to soup it up a little and you still get a professional quality system.

Notebookcheck‘s review Edit

Lenovo has put together a great package for a well-rounded office notebook with modest 3D graphics potential. The matte screen with a broad color space and high resolution lends itself well to photo editing while remaining convenient for use in the office or outdoors.

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

A good battery, life, fast performance, plenty of connectivity and a solid design mean the Lenovo ThinkPad T510 should be a prime choice for business use — and, indeed, for anyone who wants a good all-round notebook. You also get a fingerprint reader (with which you can just swipe your finger to boot and log in to the system) and hard drive protection. Its price is high, but you're paying a premium for all the built-in features, the large battery and the great build quality of the chassis.

TechSpot‘s review Edit

As a business-oriented laptop the ThinkPad T510 has many things going for it, but the price is a bit steep when you look at the consumer space and see a bunch of other systems from the likes of Asus, Toshiba, HP and even Sony that are similarly equipped but are selling for less.

Following the T410, the bigger T510 now faces our test course. Now Lenovo has also updated its 15 inch T-range classic with cutting-edge technology with the Arrandale CPUs. Our prototype additionally starts with a discrete Nvidia NVS 3100 graphic card and a 4 GB DDR3 RAM. Read here if the latest model can take it up with its forerunner's success.
