Velocity Micro Raptor Signature Edition Pro Reviews

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

Velocity Micro brings the Raptor Signature Edition (GeForce GTX 480), its latest uber gaming system, to the market. Sure, it's almost $6,000, but that's the price you must pay to get a system that will play high-end 3D games at the highest quality levels.

Maximum PC‘s review Edit

It is, perhaps, fitting that Velocity Micro’s new rig is called a Raptor. That’s because anyone who has ever seen the Air Force’s F-22 Raptor in person and on afterburner knows just how overkill the F-22 is. The same can be said of Velocity Micro’s Raptor Signature Edition. With people overjoyed just to have a $99 Athlon II X4 620, Velocity Micro decided to go shock-and-awe on the spec lists—and the wallet.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

We have one major issue with the Velocity Micro Raptor Signature Edition (the price), and two minor ones (it's loud, for one), but those aside, this is one of the most feature-complete high-end desktops we've reviewed. Its performance is media-creation- and game-minded, and anyone buying it for those or almost any other purposes won't be disappointed.
