Panasonic HDC-TM300 Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

Beyond those minor complaints - and they are indeed minor - the Panasonic HDC-TM300 is one of the best small HD camcorders we've seen. Its marquee features are its performance in well-lit conditions, its blend of automated and manual modes, and its still-image quality.

We can really say that the Panasonic HDC-TM300 was a very special camcorder to work with, and users who have a change to take it for a spin will most likely confirm this. It's small, light and portable, yet able to deliver some pretty serious video and audio punch. It offers a wide range of recording options for both mainstream users and prosumers, including here extensive customization options in manual mode.

A very good prosumer HD camcorder, the Panasonic HDC-TM300 nevertheless has an annoying touch-screen interface.

Camcorderinfo‘s review Edit

Like the HS300 we reviewed earlier this year, the Panasonic HDC-TM300 (MSRP $1299.99) is an excellent camcorder in nearly every detail. It has impressive video performance, boasting strong colors and low noise in bright light and low light alike. The TM300 also had surprising still photo capabilities - better than the vast majority of consumer camcorders.

www.trustedreviews.com‘s review Edit

The smaller video storage is balanced out by the reduced weight, and it's around £50 cheaper too. Although Canon's LEGRIA HF S10 and Sony HDR-XR520 are brilliant camcorders too, the former is considerably more expensive and the latter doesn't offer the TM300's manual control. If you're serious about your video making, the HDC-TM300 gets the balance just right between features, video quality and price.
