Sony Ericsson Aspen Pro Reviews

HardwareZone‘s review Edit

So how does the Sony Ericsson Aspen stand as a phone? That really depends on what you need in a mobile device. Those who wish for a physical QWERTY keyboard will find the Aspen to be a good fit for their messaging needs. But with its limited screen size, and somewhat chunky profile, it pales in comparison to most other smartphones. To redeem its shortcomings, the Aspen does have an impressive battery life, and a reasonable price tag of S$488 for the budget constrained.

GSMArena‘s review Edit

It’s been a while since we last had to deal with a QWERTY-enabled PocketPC candybar. But it looks like we’ll be seeing quite some of them around. We don’t know if the industry is running out of ideas and trying to recycle old concepts. Or quite a few makers have done their homework properly and found potential.

SlashGear‘s review Edit

Still, it’s unlikely to be enough – even with Sony Ericsson’s “GreenHeart” earth-friendly branding – to bring in a broad audience, and the Aspen pales in comparison with the company’s own XPERIA range of predominantly Android-based smartphones. It’s not a bad handset, but neither does it do enough to stand out in a market increasingly crowded by superlatives.

Sony Ericsson's candybar doesn't come up to the standard set by its rivals.
