Nikon COOLPIX S4000 Pro Reviews

reghardware‘s review Edit

It doesn’t offer the best performance around, but it is highly affordable. If you fancy a compact, touchscreen camera for casual shooting, then it’s well worth considering.

ITreviews‘s review Edit

Although the Coolpix S4000 is not at its best in low light circumstances, this is a chic, well-constructed point ‘n' snapper that has efficient touch screen operation, some fun Touch Shooting options, HD video and good quality outdoor pictures.

PC Magazine‘s review Edit

The Nikon Coolpix S4000 can deliver good images and a mostly satisfying touch-screen experience at a sub-$200 price point, but it requires a few compromises.

Nikon's budget-friendly Coolpix S4000 offers up a large, responsive touch screen, but its performance will test your patience.

PhotographyBLOG‘s review Edit

Given the lack of manual or even semi-manual exposure modes, the Nikon Coolpix S4000 is unlikely to appeal to the serious photographer, but truth be told it was probably never really meant for them. Those trading up from a camera phone will definitely like the optical zoom, the different autofocus options and the high-definition video recording capability, and will likely feel at home with the touchscreen interface.
