Great Laptop for Those Who Want a PC

Ownership period: more than 1 year.

My wife recently needed to upgrade her laptop (an old Toshiba...CRAP). I have an Inspiron E1705 and love it still (especially since Windows 7 made it like new). We got an Inspiron 15 and she loves it (and Windows 7) and is glad we didn't blow a small fortune on a MacBook.

my second dell

Ownership period: less than 3 months.

wow, i bought this computer at staples and what a terrific deal....it has a 16x9 widescreen, 4gb ram, 500 gb hard drive, windows 7 64 bit (however will not sync to droid). this is a terrific upgrade over the dell B130 i had, dell has truly stepped up their game and made a machine at an afforable price that deserves the best of user reviews. i would love to have an apple for 1000 but for a third of the price this kicks somes serious a$$.
