SANYO Xacti VPC-CG10 Pro Reviews

PC Advisor‘s review Edit

The attractively styled Sanyo Xacti VPC-CG10 with its uniquely comfortable gun grip is both fun and simple to use. It produced decent stills and offers a good video resolution, though not at full HD. The generous onboard memory makes it good value, but the overall impression is marred by the plasticky controls at the rear.

If you’re interested in similar tinkering, want still shooting from a pocketable camcorder, and can rein in your expectations of just what a $200 camcorder can deliver, the Xacti VPC-CG10 is worth considering.

CrunchGear‘s review Edit

An excellent casual HD camcorder with superior image quality to pocket cams and a flexible focus system, making it useful for bloggers like me as well. At under $200 this thing is absolutely a steal.

Pocket-lint‘s review Edit

For a quick point-and-shoot video camera the Sanyo CG10 is a nifty little camera. The styling might not suit and not being able to stand the camera up without a tripod is a pain, but overall the end results are good.

CNET Reviews‘s review Edit

Sanyo's dual-camera Xacti VPC-CG10 has the design and features to easily shoot both HD-quality movies and 10-megapixel photos, but slow performance and mediocre photos keep it from being a solid do-it-all device.
