Intel and Lenovo have launched a 10.1-inch Classmate PC -- a ruggedized, classroom-oriented low-cost notebook based on the Atom N2600 dual-core processor -- and Intel is now planning a tablet PC along the same lines, currently code-named "Storybook." The tablet is said by DigiTimes to feature a 10-inch panel that will use Intel's Medfield 32-nanometer mobile-oriented Atom processor, and is aimed at both education and emerging market retail channels. »read more
