Sony claims Nokia 808 PureView 41-megapixel sensor is old tech

Sony has called the Nokia 808 PureView phone a "development announcement" rather than a consumer product and claims that its 41-megapixel camera is old technology.
The Japanese manufacturer states that it has used similar pixel zoom technology in its cameras for about a year, but does give Nokia a nod for implementing it inside a mobile phone. »read more
