Way back in September of last year, Sprint released the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the LG Optimus S smartphone. Unfortunately, it was pulled shortly after launch because users were reporting a number of bugs with the update. This left Optimus S users confused and bewildered as to where their Android 2.3 Gingerbread update went. Well, here we are nearly seven months later, and Sprint says that it will relaunch the update starting on Wednesday of this week.
