HTC's plan for Windows Phone 8

Just a few days ago, Microsoft unveiled some of the bigger features it was working on in its upcoming Windows Phone 8 platform, which is set to launch in the fall. Windows Phone has failed to really take off in the United States, partly due to few carriers supporting the platform, but also due to several manufacturers holding off on the platform until it was more fully baked.
We learned on Wednesday that carrier partners were lining up in droves to get behind the Windows Phone 8 platform, and yesterday The Verge learned of HTC’s plans for the fall.
