Panasonic adds three full HD camcorders to 2012 lineup
Like UnlikeFiled in: CamcordersPanasonicHC-V700MHC-V500MHC-V100M
Panasonic added three new Full HD camcorders to their lineup today. The three new camcorders include the HC-V700, HC-V500, and HC-V100, and all three models include single CMOS chips with designs that built upon last year’s models. In addition to a few updates, it appears Panasonic made some administrative changes with its new lineup—this new year ushers in a new naming scheme and sees hard drives eliminated as a built-in memory option.

Panasonic launches HC-X900 flagship prosumer camcorder

Panasonic pulled back the curtain on their latest flagship camcorder today—the HC-X900M—another evolutionary upgrade to the top end of their consumer lineup.
The HC-X900M replaces last year’s HDC-TM900, with which it shares most of its specs. It’s built around three separate 1/4.1-inch backlit CMOS sensors, one for each RGB color channel (the so-called 3MOS system, though as we’d expect, there have been some tweaks to the setup).

Panasonic creates HDC-Z10000 AVCHD 2.0 compatible 3D HD camcorder
Like UnlikeFiled in: CamcordersPanasonicHDC-Z10000
Panasonic has announced the HDC-Z10000 an integrated twin-lens 2D/3D camcorder that can shoot in the AVCHD 3D/Progressive standard. The camera features a parallax-barrier LCD that allows the 3D footage to be reviewed on-camera without the need for special glasses. Its adoption of the latest AVCHD standard allows it to shoot 1080p60 footage in 2D and up to 1080i60 in 3D, as well as offering 30p and 24p options. The camera essentially combines two of the company's 3MOS camcorders in a single body, offering 30-369 equivalent F1.5-2.8 zooms (32-320mm in 3D mode), stabilized for both 2D and 3D shooting.
