Marvel is going for on-the-go smartphone users and tablet owners. Their plan to start offer digital releases alongside print editions. In other words, no longer will you have to wait for the release of a digital version of some comic – it will be published on the same day its less “paper counterpart” is out.
The plan is to digitalize the full line of comic books except select third-party licensed works such as Stephen King’s The Stand books and MAX imprint.
