Today at Photoshop World, Adobe announced Adobe Carousel, a cloud-based photo library that allows users to view, edit, and share pictures across a number of different devices.
The term Carousel refers to a photo library. When a photo is added to the Carousel on a desktop Mac, for instance, it will automatically appear in the Carousel of every other connected device a few seconds later. Similarly, a photo taken with an iPhone 4 and loaded directly into the Carousel will also appear on all connected devices automatically.
Adobe Carousel currently supports the iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4, as well as the iPad, iPad 2, and the 4th-generation iPod touch. It requires OSX Lion to run on desktop Macs.
