HP has released new OS updates for its TouchPad tablet and Pre 2 and Pre 3 smartphones. The TouchPad gets webOS v.3.0.5, which offers faster switching in Calendar views, IM indicators, and quicker scrolling in Email. It also gets support for HTTP Live Streaming, the ability to toggle auto-correct on and off, and a handy typing shortcut - two consecutive spaces will now be entered as one space and a period, something that we have seen on many other smartphone and tablet systems.
