planing to buy skyrocket handset and then bringing to india so as to unlock it and use it with other gsm carrier just wanted to confirm can it be sim unlocked in india and at what price please help?????

You need to know whether someone tried to unlock it before, the carrier the phone was locked to and IMEI in order to get the pricing.

P.S. It doesn't matter where in the world you are. All you need is credit card and internet, obviously.
