It looks like the days of retail stores competing for low prices are coming to an end. Today, both Sony and Samsung announced that they will be enforcing minimum pricing for all their HDTVs. This means that the TV will retail for the same exact price, no matter what retailer you purchase it from. This not only eliminates competition between the retailers, but also eliminates the resulting lower retail prices.
