Samsung has delivered a streamlined sequel to the original Series 9 notebook in what amounts to a much thinner aluminum unibody package, but also delivering better performance. The new notebook has also been designed to pack in a 15-inch 1600x900 display in a 14-inch chassis. The new Series 9 also weighs just 2.5 pounds and is only half an inch thick.
Samsung claims that the new Series 9 is the result of 33,000 hours in research, design and development.
