Welcome to the club T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S 4G users! You are finally able to use Gingerbread and all of the goodies that brings. We know that Ice Cream Sandwich is the new hotness, but it's always nice to get an update.
The update will not only bring your Galaxy S 4G up to Gingerbread, Android 2.3.6 to be exact. The update also brings a mysterious "Google Security Patch", whatever that means, as well as camera enhancements and WiFi enhancements.
The bad news is that this update will not be available OTA, so you'll have to dig up your USB cable, hook up your phone to your computer and use the Samsung Kies Mini software to update your phone. »read more
