In an attempt to stop the spread of a leaked Nexus Prime firmware build, Samsung’s legal department appears to have confirmed both the existence of the phone and rumors that device was built by Samsung. “It has come to our attention that you are wrongfully in possession of, and intend to release or otherwise publicly disclose without Samsung’s consent, firmware for the Nexus Prime,” a letter obtained by Geek.com said. “The Nexus Prime firmware is the exclusive property of Samsung and/or its partners, suppliers and affiliates.” The letter is signed by Samsung’s General Counsel, Bryan Hopkins, though the source of the letter has removed the name.
