Apple's senior vice president of iOS software, Scott Forstall, is the company's "CEO-in-waiting," according to a new book about Apple.
Author and Fortune writer Adam Lashinsky gives Forstall this title in "Inside Apple: How America's Most Admired—And Secretive—Company Really Works," writes Fortune's Apple expert Philip Elmer-Dewitt.
"He's a sharp, down-to-earth, and talented engineer, and a more-than-decent presenter," an entrepreneur reportedly told Lashinsky. "He's the total package." »read more
