During Wednesday's private memorial service on Apple's Cupertino campus, Apple CEO Tim Cook sat down with Samsung CEO and company heir Lee Jae-Yong for more than 2 hours according to the Korea Herald. Rumors of the meeting had made the rounds last week just when the legal battles between the two companies was reaching a fever pitch. Lee told reporters when he arrived back in Korea that despite the legal conflict, Samsung would honor the current contract that has Samsung selling parts to Apple until sometime next year. Yesterday, Samsung said that it would make the quad-core A6 processor for the Apple iPhone 5.
