A dollar isn't what it used to be—and even electronics juggernaut Apple knows it. This week the company made some fairly significant changes to its international App Store pricing, CNET reports.
The new scheme will mean cheaper albums in Japan, Switzerland, and Australia, and pricier tracks in the UK, Norway, and Mexico. The price adjustments reflect changes in foreign exchange rates and local tax laws in countries, an Apple spokesperson told CNET. The spokesperson said that the changes only apply to Apple's App Store and Mac App Store—not the company's hardware.
