Following this past weekend's sale of the HP TouchPad tablet that took $100 off the sticker price of both the 16GB and 32GB versions (or more if you knew where to look), HP has gone ahead and made the price drop permanent. A message from HP's SVP of the Personal Systems Group in North America Steven DiFranco was sent to retailers informing them of the price drop, and HP's own webstore has relisted the TouchPad at the lower price point. »read more
