Philips announced recently that their NET TV platform has a new video on demand service. The new service will allow the Videociety’s movie rental app access to the service and offer their movie library in HD. In addition to HD quality, the movies will also include Dolby Digital 5.1 surround sound. There will be a selection of both classical and new movies. Customers will have the option of renting movies for a 24 or a 48 hour period. Right now, the service will be available in Germany and Austria. »read more
