Following in the footsteps of the Department of Justice, Sprint has announced its lawsuit to block the proposed purchase of T-Mobile by rival AT&T.
Sprint, a longtime opponent of the buyout, and one of the most vocal against it, takes the position that the purchase of T-Mobile by AT&T would be bad for the consumer and detrimental to the wireless market in the U.S. Sprint points out in its lawsuit that the acquisition would harm both retail consumer and corporate customers by stifling innovation and causing higher prices.
