Epson has recently unveiled two new projectors for the educational market, the PowerLite S11 and X12. These two models are expected to replace two other projectors in Epson’s lineup. The S11 features 2600 ANSI lumens, a SVGA (800 x 600) resolution, and a 3000:1 contrast ratio. The X12 has the same contrast ratio, but also comes with a native XGA (1024 x 768) resolution and 2800 ANSI lumens. Both projectors have been given a wide array of features, like an assortment of setup features, an extended lamp life, direct power on/off, and closed captioning. The S11 and X12 are both available now through certified retailers. They retail for $449 and $549, respectively. »read more
