Good phone

I love the phone, but wish it had the 2.1 Android software for the google maps with voice. It is not as bulky as the droid, and I can navigate it very nicely. Touch screen works fantastic even with my fat thumbs. Would recommend to anyone. Need to download an app called "Task Killer" this will save your battery life a bit by using this to make sure all your apps aren't running at once.

Love this phone. Been a huge LG fan the entire almost 10 years I have been with Verizon Wireless. This is my first non LG phone and it's awesome. Well besides the Crackberry Storm I had for almost a month, which was junk.

I like it.

I love the design, the Android OS and it performs better than many phones. Still, I find myself yearning for a bigger screen, higher resolution, faster processor. And even though I've acclimated to using the onscreen keyboard, which isn't terrible, coming from a Blackberry Curve it's definitely a step down in terms of productivity. That being said, I know this phone is not exactly catering to a "hardcore user" or professional environment but overall I do enjoy using the phone.

the droid eris is a good phone, but lacks some features. Love the touch screen is responsive and accurate. Doesn't freeze often like other prior phones I had. I just wish that it had at least the 2.0 software there are a lot of useful apps that require the version.

I had the Eris for about 1 month. I liked it but I opted to get the Droid. I wanted more speed and bigger screen. It was great in the hand. I liked the sleek design and its curves. Very easy to use.

Basic Android Smartphone

Created by dunes09 on Feb 10, 2010

This is pretty much a basic device with a basic version of the Android OS on it. The SenseUI is really good, but you gotta dig pretty deep to customize it. This phone is meant for consumers entering the smartphone market, especially with the low price tag! There are plenty of apps and the AndroidOS is pretty nice. Good phone for the entry-level smartphone user!
