Dell's $50 Droid Deal

If I ordered one, would I have to get a new contract if I bought it for $49? My upgrade isn't for another year but my pearl is going out on me...So, can I still buy it for $49 and keep my contract, plan, and all?

Does it say "with contract?" If so, unless you are eligible to upgrade annually. You probably can't do it. To be eligible to upgrade annually with vzw, you have to have a rate plan of $50 or higher, and have your accounted registered on their website.
