I've heard many mixed reviews about this phone, som say its great - including cnet. But at the verizon store I heard there were many complaints and returns.

I've heard the LG Env line has some issues. Like they will shutdown automatically. If your phone has a problem they usually will replaced it.
The ones with the original software did. But they came out with a new software that fixed it. Its a great phone.
