Have anyone had problems with the sliding mechanism?

I am hoping to buy a Nokia N97. But after some sliders i've had in the past and the problems they've given me, i'm having a hard time deciding on the N97. But in many reviews i found out that this slider is quite solid. But need to hear from some user who have had this phone for atleast 6, 7 months. Gimme you opinion people. Thanks in advance!
