Level 1 it doesn't boot, display stays black => nothing happens... i simply just cant live without IOMMU because the system is (after booting) a xen based virtual platform for several sub servers... i have 12GB ram, amd 1055 x86_64 six core processor and a asrock 890fx deluxe4 motherboard... also one nic pcie and 2x 1.5TB disks, 1kw power supply and 2 displays, one in use (the other not installed yet)...

Level 1 the OS = OpenSUSE 11.4 with xen installed... the no-boot situation isn't dependable of the os because it doesn't even start the disk reading part (or anything else for that matter)

Level 9 Are you sure that the whole system is hanging... there is a slight chance that only the GPU is hanging while the system continues to boot...
