i agree, based on 720p the visual quality still isnt as good as ps3 but thats based on 720p i dont think the games get higher that that on ps
Mine overheats all the time too. Which is why i like my wii better

Mine has never overheated either. I also own the wii and its worse than i expected.

I have had mine for a year and no problems yet. I have had a Ps3 for a year too and Sony restored it twice for some reason?
I tend to run a fan on the vents, and I have it lying on a notebook cooling pad. Runs for hours without frying.. Oddly, it only gets warm from game play, but I love it regardless!
Mine has never overheated and I have had it for over three years now. I did have a problem with a bad graphics card about 2 years ago but other then that the thing works like a champ. I use it standing upright which is maybe the reason it does not overheat.
