If you ever encounter a problem where your wi-fi is functioning but your blu-ray drive won't play any games then here's a fix. All you have to do is format the drive again. You will lose some of your trophies, but better lost trophies than lost PS3, waiting for it to get sent back...This problem seems to have struck by turning off the PS3 improperly, so when turning it off make sure you wait, so you don't have to loose any data on the HDD if you have to reformat...
