Ownership period: more than 1 year.

Where to start. I have had and used this camera for several years. I bought it at bjs wholesale club for about 300 when it was new. That should have been my first clue. We couldn't get the pictures to turn out right no matter how much we played with it. i finally found a forum post of someone who had the same camera and found settings that took decent pictures.
The pictures all looked shiny, there was always way too much reflection off of everything, it looked over exposed.
I was able to take 45 mins of video with the rechargeable battery and still have plenty of life yet, im not sure how long the battery lasts as i always fill up the 1 gig card before it dies.

Semi rugged (not really waterproof dont try it)

you have to wait 30 seconds inbetween taking pictures
