Windows Phone 7 OS, expectations, opinions?

Microsoft's new phone OS looks quite nice on the demo, with its integrated features and new graphic interface. To be honest, I might even like it, if its fast and smooth as it is shown on the videos. I only doubt that it will get the variety of applications that IOS 4 and Android offers. What do you think, will it be any good?

Definitely a looker, but lacks some of the functionality the previous version had. It replaces function with style and usage and turned a business oriented OS into a user oriented like the iPhone. I can't wait to see it in person it may be the thing to make replace my iPhone 3G.
It should get popular in my opinion. People like eye candy, easy of use and touchscreens. If it really turns out to be as good as Microsoft says and if it is installed on a high-end device of the same class as Galaxy S it should boost it sales quite nicely.
