Problem with battery

my compaq c960 went on low battery, after charging it full the machine restart, it does not even come on the screen, please what should i do?

Try to turn on your notebook without the battery, if it works find some working battery. If the problem is not the battery go to a service. I think the problem is hardware, so if you don't have skills don't try to fix it :)
