Well, good for you. Canon's DSLRs are one of the best shooters on the market. With good optics (not the kit ones) this camera is the bomb. It would have been nice if it could shoot videos though :(.

Agreed... It seems i was about 6 months early jumping on this. the 50(?)d i think added it. but no complaints. Just need more money now to buy some more lenses! Im just glad my original 18-55 cannon lens from my first camera (the original EOS from 1986) still work perfectly with it!

No need to be disappointed, there will always be something new to make you want to replace your camera :). Its a good thing that vintage lenses work on this camera, they made them really well back in the day and the lens haven't change much since the first DSLR popped up.
