where is my free space

Yesterday I saw that my primary partition with Windows 7 installed on it, has run out of capacity O_o I checked everything on drive C and desktop, and My documents, and My downloads but I cleaned only 2 GB.....where are the rest of my 50 GB partition? Program Files are around 15 GB...

Temporary files, I have no Idea why Windows doesn't get rid of them after 2 weeks for example. Just search your pc for folders named temp and delete everything from them. System Restore takes some space as well.

delete every information from : C:\Users\"account name"\AppData\Local\Temp

The first possible things that come to my mind are the temp files, full recycle bin, my documents download folder is getting cramped (I always forget to clean it up) and to many system restore points. You can limit the disk space it uses. Also you can set a fixed amount of virtual memory so there won't be any surprises.
