We’ve been consistently impressed with Samsung’s high-end TVs. This year’s 8000 models are especially slick, with crazy thin bezels and outstanding pictures. That’s nice and all, but it doesn’t matter unless all of that turns into sales. Samsung has been losing sales over the last year or so, resulting in an atrocious second quarter. The whole flat-panel market is a bit rough right now and Samsung has announced cuts in TV production, just like LG before them. »read more
