Of all the new Android smartphones Samsung announced recently, the Galaxy W was the one that grabbed instant attention, with Three and O2 lining up to start offering it later this month. Vodafone seems to care more about its little (and less powerful) brother – Galaxy Y, which got a spot in the Big Red carrier’s coming soon pages.
If you recall, this is an entry-level device with a familiar all-touchscreen form factor. Specs wise, it comes with a 3-inch QVGA display, 2-megapixel camera, HSDPA and Wi-Fi connectivity, 832MHz processor, microSD memory card slot, while Android 2.3 Gingerbread is running the show with Sammy’s own TouchWiz UI singing on top. »read more
