Thoughts about TIZEN, another open-source mobile OS.

While MeeGo is heading six feet under, TIZEN is the next mobile OS that will supposedly rise and help Intel get into the ultra-mobile CPU business. Based on Linux, TIZEN will be an open source project led by Intel and Samsung tech teams, targeting smartphones, tablets, netbooks, in-car entertainment units and TVs.
As far as the tablet and cell phone OS is concerned, the fight is going to be tough for Tizen facing iOS and Android as main enemies. What do you think, will there be a demand for another mobile OS and if so, what will make it succeed?

Tizen is the next potential forgotten open-source project...even the project`s site seems half-baked...there is no useful info neither for developers nor for normal users there...they`ll need serious hardware support, media attention and tremendous amounts of software in order to even start forcing it to the market, but I think it is not going to work anyway...
I don't think it will survive long..
