MSI's WindPad, introduced at Computex, is now shipping in North America. The Windows 7-powered tablet sports an AMD Z-01 APU rather than the promised NVIDIA Tegra 250 at its unveiling at the end of May. Other specs, however, such as the 32GB solid-state drive, 10-inch, 1280x800 screen and USB and miniHDMI ports are retained.
There is also 4GB of RAM onboard, and support for DirectX 11 content is present. A webcam is also built-in, which works with the software suite to read users' faces for access in lieu of a password. »read more
